More than just a free trip to Israel!

Birthright Israel began with a bold idea—offering a free, life-changing trip to Israel for young Jewish adults between the ages of 18 and 26 and, in doing so, transforming the Jewish future.

Our mission is to provide all young Jewish adults with opportunities for transformative and immersive shared experiences in Israel and a foundation for ongoing Jewish connection.

Today, Birthright Israel is the largest educational tourism organization in the world that has given over 800,000 journeys to the magical state of Israel.

800,000 unique moments of self-discovery and life-long friendships.

From life-changing Shabbats to Dead Sea swims to mountain hikes and so much more.

The trip is impactful, leaving you different than before.

It is given freely, with no expectation of anything in return.

Most importantly, it is personal, like the best gifts always are.

Birthright Israel also offers other opportunities in Israel such as:

Safety and Security

Because we know it's a priority for you too!

It is completely normal to have questions and concerns about the safety and security of traveling to and around Israel. Jewish Nevada and Birthright International take this issue very seriously. If you have questions beyond what is below, please contact our office directly at 702-732-0556 or go to the Birthright FAQ section for more details.

  • Participants are in a group travel setting during programming times
  • Free time is offered each day to explore the area participants are in. We encourage participants to go in pairs, at the very least, during free time. We also set predetermined limits on how far participants can go out and away from our hotel
  • All Birthright trips have a trained security gaurd, who is also a first aid responder, with them as security and several other secuirty precautions are taken during the trip.
  • Rarely will you be out of contact on a regular American smartphone. There is no need to get a SIM card and WhatsApp should be downloaded prior to leaving the US. Additionally, if your phone is not paid off yet with your provider, you will not be able to use a different SIM card as the phone is still locked. There is Wifi everywhere in Israel as well!
